Great stuff yet again Jim! Wow, I was surprised to see the DV article with Hines be published in the Journal for Men and Masculinities! That may be the first time I have ever agreed with an article in that journal! LoL Thanks too for the mention!
Thank you, James. knew about the Men's Health Bill that was introduced in the House, but I didn't know that there is a Senate version now, too. Thank you for that, and for all your other good work
When Prince Harry married Meghan Markle, his mother bestowed on him a title that hadn't been used for a few hundred years.
This showed me how authorities / governments sit on their arses when it comes to monitoring society, changing laws and making sure things that are beyond their Use By Date are either abandoned, stopped or modified to keep up with the current situation.
Which means, that if the law is no longer relevant, then cancel it.
To be truthful, I don't know if the laws have been changed as mentioned by Ernest Belfort Bax in his book The Legal Subjection of Men (1908). Bax talks about how men are responsible for the debts that his wife might have incurred. In my mind these laws should be cancelled by Government when they are no longer relevant. One could easily think, 'why bother' of course. But I want things to be fair and in order and when something like this is still hanging around then it is like a contagion in society.
so when women's sports has more than men, then Title IX should be abandoned. It reached its Use By Date.
